Eggdrop
Eggdrops on Ins0mnia have to go through tor (https://torproject.org) connectionwise. Simply add set firewall "127.0.0.1:port" to your eggdrop.conf. Ports can be one of the following: 12345,54321,11221,22111. Bots making direct connections to IRC networks and multiple bots will be automatically killed, no telnet.
Psybnc
Users may not run their own PsyBNC - however, once they have been users for a while they can be added as a user to a running PsyBNC. Have a look at entry for znc.
ZNC
ZNC is a IRC bouncer and is available on Ins0mnia. Users can be added to it in order for permanently keeping nicks on an IRC network without having to reveal their own ip address. Note that in order to keep your ZNC account, you will have to log into the shell at least once a week. Ask cbas to have an account added for you!
Quiz
For a free shell on Ins0mnia No.2 you need to pass a quiz consisting of 20 questions regarding http://ins0mnia.net/mediawiki/index.php/Contact and the No.2 (free) sections of the two pages it refers to. You should be able to answer most of the questions if you have read those pages - be ready to answer most if not all of them correctly. Example question: http://ins0mnia.net/mediawiki/index.php/Quiz
Shell
In order to get a shell account you should speak/understand english as both the admin and the community use english. 1) Send an email to orwell.1984info@gmail.com where you state why you want the shell account and 2) be ready to pass a quiz based on the Contact/Server/Applications pages. Only the No. 2 (free) sections of both Server/Applications are relevant.
Hosting
Ins0mnia Shell Service does not offer hosting of any kind - that includes MySQL,HTTP,IRCD or anything else that needs an external open port.
IRC
Access to some IRC networks might be restricted because a tor server is active on this shell. For eggdrops and other bots that will mean they cannot connect to IRC networks that block tor (e.g. Efnet & DalNet). For irssi/ZNC/PsyBNC that means users should talk to cbas if their account cannot connect to a specific network and it will be made possible :>
Teamspeak
TeamSpeak Server open on ts.ins0mnia.net:8767 - execute contact! in the shell to learn the password! (download the client @ http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads)
Donators have an email address: user@ins0mnia.net. Access it with mutt.
Irssi
\o/ irssi \o/ is available on the shell. Access to some networks might be restricted because a tor server is active on Ins0mnia. Ask Cbas to enable access to those networks for you if possible - no guarantee given. To connect with irssi via tor (anonymous connection) use 'tsocks irssi'. Note that GNU screen will be available on request after 1-2 months of being a member.
Cbas
The humble admin of Ins0mnia.net; has divided infinity by zero - twice.
Ins0mnia
Now if you don't know that, how did you find here?!
BNC
A ZNC user account is available on request. Type ? znc for more info.
